Returns & Refunds

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Change of mind: return within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Unworn, in original packaging. Return shipping at your cost. Refunds within 7 business days of us receiving it.

Earrings: can't be returned once worn or unpackaged, for hygiene reasons. Faulty earrings are replaced.

Faulty items: within 60 days, send a photo and your order number and we'll repair, replace or refund, free, once you've sent it back.

To return: email team@called-and-chosen.com or DM us with your order number. Wait for us to confirm the address before posting.

Gift cards: non-refundable, no cash value, valid 36 months.

Your rights: nothing here limits your rights under the ECT Act or Consumer Protection Act, including the 7-day cooling-off period and the six-month warranty on defective goods.

Courier to your door — R99, 2–4 business days
Collection in Pretoria East — free, arranged by message
Free delivery on orders over R400

PUDO: we'll send to the locker nearest your address, or name one at checkout.

Orders are dispatched within 3 working days. You'll get a tracking number by email. Delivery is handled by couriers, so we can't control delays once a parcel leaves us.

Pre-orders ship when the drop goes live.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Called and Chosen is a small jewellery business in Pretoria, South Africa. Contact: team@called-and-chosen.com

Our pieces are stainless or titanium steel, plated in 18k gold or silver. They're finished by hand, so small variations are normal and not faults. Screen colours vary.

Pieces are released in small drops, usually 5 to 15 of each design. We don't guarantee restocks.

Prices are in Rand. Your order is an offer to buy; the sale is concluded once we confirm it and payment clears. If something sells out or is listed in error, we may cancel and refund you in full.

Payments are processed by Yoco. We never see your card details.

Delivery estimates are given in good faith but aren't guaranteed.

Our pieces are water and sweat resistant. Normal wear over time, including to plating, isn't a fault.

All photographs, names, designs and copy on this site belong to Called and Chosen.

These terms may change. The version published when you order applies to that order. South African law governs.

We handle your information in line with POPIA.

What we collect: your name, email, delivery address and phone number when you order. Name and email if you join our mailing list. Anonymous data about how the site is used.

Why: to process and deliver your order, contact you about it, handle returns, and tell you about drops if you've opted in.

Who sees it: Wix (hosts our site), Yoco (processes payment, we never see card details), and our couriers (delivery address and number only). We never sell your information.

How long: order records for as long as we need them legally. Mailing list details until you unsubscribe.

Your rights: ask us what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Unsubscribe any time.

Cookies: we use them to keep your cart working and understand site use. You can disable them in your browser.
